HOBBY
Everyone
must have a hobby they love to do. It’s just that everyone has a hobby that is
different like, sports, traveling, shopping, watching movies, reading,
painting, playing music, listen to music, eating and sleeping. Playing with
gadgets is teenagers’ hobby these days. Depends on what hobby they personally
like.
Hello,my
name is Aprilia Rahayu. I want to tell you about my hobby. I have many hobbies
including, sports, painting, watching movies and going out with friends,from
several hobbies that i have my favorite one is basketball. Why? Because for me
playing basketball is a really positive hobby, rather than wasting our money we
are better burning our calories,and rather than staying home watching or playing
basketball video games we are better doing it outside the house with our bodies.
Basketball is a sport that requires personal skills, teamwork, and speed,
basketball is a sport that not everyone can play. I am really enjoying the time
when i run through the opponent and put the ball into the opponent’s ring, then
the sound of cheers from the audience that amazed when i succeeded in putting the
ball into the ring. This sport is also very good for burning calories for
people who are obese like me haha :D I think playing basketball is very fun.
Because of basketball, I have many friends from different cities and regions in
Indonesia and even abroad, such as America. I also have a favorite player that
I admire from Indonesia and from America. Women’s basketball player from
Indonesia that I admire is Wulan Ayu Ningrum from “Tomang Sakti” team, Selena
Maria from “Merah Putih Predator” team. And from America, I like Lebron James,
Kobe Briyan, jason Kidd, Steve Fancis, Stephen Curry and much more.
This
hobby is already in me since i was 9years old and I learned it without
anyone’s help. I joined basketball when i first entered the Senior High School
and i got a lot of trophies from various basketball championships. After I
graduated from High School, I wanted to improve my skill in playin basketball,
I wanted to join the campus basketball club but sadly the exercise place was
located in Depok and i live in Bekasi, and the exercise started at 6pm-9pm, I
thought “how can i ride home alone in such a late night like that?”. And then i decided not to join the campus
team. For a few months i felt so bored because i seldom play basketball. And I
finally joined one of Basketball Clubs in Bekasi and thats “PLAYHOUR”. Playhour
is one of the strongest team in Bekasi. I felt so comfortable joining this team,
the seniors an the coach are friendly and kind, the point is I am comfortable
around them. This Club is different from the ones i’ve ever joined, here we
care about each other. I never once absent in practice time except there’s a
schedule from my campus.
I
really love this hobby, no one can get in my way if im being busy with this
one. I even want to make this hobby as my part time job someday, may be i can
be a national player,international player or even a referee.
